This is a little off subject, but I had to write just a little blurb about it because of her influence in my life (and because it’s just so cool) . . .
A few weeks ago, while representing a client at the International Housewares Show in Chicago, I got to meet Sara Moulton. Slightly (ok, maybe a little more than slightly) starstruck, I thanked her for being such a wonderful inspiration to me, and she seemed genuinely flattered. She was gracious and very humble.
My cooking passion (obsession) began by watching Sara’s Cooking Live and Sara’s Secrets on PBS in the late 90′s. Her practicality in the kitchen removed most recipe intimidations, leaving only creative joy. She will always be one of my most favorite TV chefs.
Her newest cookbook, Sarah Moulton’s Everyday Family Dinners is a fantastic addition to my collection (thanks, Dad!).
